Who can become a member?
Funktionærernes og Tjenestemændenes Fælles Arbejdsløshedskasse (FTFa) is a cross-occupational unemployment insurance fund. We admit salaried as well as self-employed workers, regardless of profession.

FTFa collaborates with 58 professional associations. The largest member groups are finance and insurance industry workers, social workers, technical engineers, the armed forces, the police and artists. Full-time, part-time and student membership are accepted.

Where are their offices?
The headquarter in Copenhagen also hosts a branch office. Offices are also found in Aarhus, Aalborg, Odense, Herning, Kolding, Esbjerg and Næstved.

The choice of unemployment fund is restricted. Under Danish law, unemployment insurance funds can opt to be either "occupationally delimited unemployment insurance funds" or "cross-occupational unemployment insurance funds". The former admit only persons with a certain profession or occupation, whereas the latter are open to all. Unemployment funds are free to choose whether to admit self-employed persons.
